Robin Burrowes started DJing in late 80s at the time that Acid House transformed the world of dance music.
He played in Glasgow 88-99, Fever at Fury Murry’s, Tin Pan Alley, The Choice, The Apartment and Rhapsody.
Robin then played in Australia from late 91 to late 92, mostly in Sydney during the warehouse party explosion. Playing frequently at Bondi Hotel, Mars, Freezer, Bentley Bar and several huge dance parties. Bondi Beach on Xmas Day 1991 will always be the one defining moment.
In ’99 Robin moved to London and started a residency at N20 in Soho, followed with long stints at Medicine Bar, The Retreat and The Light Bar. One-offs at Renaissance, Gatecrasher and Funkshoppe Boat Parties were epic.
In the early 2000s he played regularly in Malaysia, then adventures around Europe. Frequently to Finland and Estonia from 2003-2008.
In 2013, Robin moved to Seattle and in 2019 started playing again as the resident at the amazing Stayin’ Alive nights. In 2020 he also headed back to Sydney in February and played the legendary Up for It! party.
